October 21 – Renovation Update

October 22, 2012 No Comments

Thank you for your continued patience as we continue to work through the punch list on the completed work, and await the return of the remaining rooms and spaces. We’re happy to report that the new pew cushions have arrived.   The baptismal font is working, and the lighting and sound continue to improve.  (Update 10/23 – the audio loop for the hearing impaired is now operational!) We are working with the contractor to complete the handicap access entrance, and hope to have that in operation soon.   Work is concentrated on the Commons, Parlor Lounge, Chapel, and Creedon Hall.  The work consists of replacing the air conditioning, lighting and sound systems, and installing the sprinkler system.  In addition, each of these areas will have new paint and carpet. The Commons, Parlor Lounge, and Chapel should be available for use by our Ministries in November. The contractor is working diligently to return Creedon Hall for our use in December.

Thank you for your support that has allowed the parish to make these needed renovations that support our ministries. We all look forward to the day when the work is complete!
