Preparing for Christmas!

November 28, 2012 No Comments

During this Advent season as we prepare our hearts, minds, and homes for the celebration of Christ’s birth, we also prepare our parish home. Our renovation is nearing completion! Your support, patience, and prayers are appreciated.

  • The sound system and the audio loop for the hearing impaired are fully functional. Parishioners with special hearing needs now have access to enhanced sound from anywhere in the church.
  • The lighting in the church is still undergoing adjustment, especially the area over the altar.
  • The handicap entrance directly into the church will open soon.
  • Our main entrance has re-opened and we have a beautiful Commons where we can gather before and after Mass.
  • The Parlor Lounge is open for faith formation ministries and meetings.
  • The Chapel is now a prayer room. The Prayer Room is for individual and quiet reflection, prayer and meditation.
  • Work continues on Creedon Hall, including the entrance for the newly-partioned pre-event space. The Hall will be available for our Christmas Eve 4:00pm Mass. (Groups wishing to use the Hall in 2013 should contact the responsible director.)
  • The new Information Desk in the Commons replaces the former tables and counters. Please stop by and  check out information on our parish ministries.

Your generous prayers and donations have allowed this work to come to fruition, and have made our facilities a more functional and safe space.

Thank you for sharing your time, talent, and treasure; they are wonderful gifts to our parish family.
