Creedon Hall Bustling with Activities

May 3, 2013 No Comments

Since reopening after months of renovation, Creedon Hall has been well used by Good Shepherd parishioners!

We’ve hosted faith formation classes, such as Father Patrick McMahon’s Church History series, fellowship events, such as after-Mass Coffee and Donuts and Knights of Columbus pancake breakfasts, and provided space for meetings for parish and community groups, such as Ventures in Community.  During Lent, the Faith Formation Ministry teamed with the Social Justice Ministry to host several “Family Soup & Stations” events. Our Funeral Committee is once again able to provide a funeral reception to bereaved families. For Christmas and Easter celebrations, additional Masses were scheduled in the Hall.

The new sky-fold partitions allow multiple events to be scheduled at the same time, while the changes to lighting, heating, and air improved safety, comfort, and efficiency.  The new AV equipment has improved the ability to include multi-media tools in presentations and classes … the Faith Formation team has used the new capabilities to present the award-winning Catholicism DVD series throughout the Spring.

We are indeed blessed by the generosity of all who contributed to the “Our Family, Our Faith, Our Future” campaign that made this renovation possible. Thank you!
